Rome wasn't built in a day....

This section of the site is the actually my passion and what has lit the fire beneath me to get started on this site unfortunately is also the most time consuming and difficult. This area is rich in climbing, history and culture. We live in the shadow of some beautiful and spectacular rocks. We live also amongst legends that walk humble alongside us. I hope to not only help produce an online guide (which I cannot do alone) also I hope to include history and give some glory to our local legends. This section of the project could take five years easily. My hope is that the climbing community will get involved and help build this resource for us and others who would like to come see what grandeur we live within driving distance from. If it were possible I would wave my magic wand and this resource would appear although reality is not conducive to this dream. So the truth is that with blood sweat and tears this site will painstakingly be built one brick at a time.

KCAdventure.com needs your help please! We need resources for our online guide....If you would like to help please contact us and give us some beta. If you would like to help create a new link please include:

1.) The name of the site.
2.) The mileage from bakersfield or the first turnout in the canyon.
3.) Complete driving direction.
4.) Pictures of the turn out and the rock(s) high resolution digital photo’s are best.
5.) Layout of the routes and the protection(per route if any).
6.) Route descriptions/ratings/and first ascent records if you can provide them.

Any info is a good we will be working on this as well but the more help the merrier. We will help translate this material from notebook chicken scratch and raw images to be formatted for the site with a little Photoshop magic and some hard coding your raw beta will be translated to published on the website become a helpful resource for our fellow enthusiasts.
